Axe Valley Wildlife Park

Axe Valley Wildlife Park is East Devon’s ‘hidden gem’.

Situated in the beautiful countryside of the Axe Valley, just a short distance from the Jurassic Coast, is this small, friendly farm. This great day out for families ensures that children of all size (big kids too!) will find something they love – whether that’s hand feeding the free-range birds, handling a snake or a tarantula or meeting the armadillo, zebra, lemur or flamingos to name just a few!

The daily animal talks will give you lots more information about all the park inhabitants and perhaps inspire future animal enthusiasts! There are various play areas all over the park, which are ideal for parents to stop for a quick rest while the children run free and you can enjoy a hot drink and cake at Ringo’s Rest Coffee Shop when you’re done!
